Who are the Saint-Ulmers?
Rather than take one person's name over the other, Bennett and Vic are combining their family names to create a new surname. They are the Saint-Ulmers...to be!
What is "Flowy but Elegant Disco?"
We want you to be physically comfortable in your attire, as in you can move about (i.e., dance) in your outfit, but the outfit should still be presentable and semi-formal. Like, a flowy danceable dress, but not a romper you would wear to a summer barbecue level of casual. This wedding is disco themed, but it's not a costume party.
Please look at the back of your physical invite as well as the "Dress Code" section of this website for acceptable colors to wear.
See below for feminine and masculine examples, and feel free to reach out to Vic or Bennett if you're confused about the vibe!
This outfit looks really close to white, should I wear it?
If you have to ask "is this too white to wear to a wedding," your best bet would be to not wear that outfit.
Is the bar an open bar or a cash bar?
The bar is an open bar. Cash tips are encouraged and go solely to the bartenders, not to the betrothed couple nor our family.
Can I request songs from the DJ?
Please do not! The DJ has a pre-established set list that they'll be playing for the reception.
Are children (people under 18 years old, no exceptions) allowed at the wedding?
Children are allowed at the wedding but not encouraged to be present. Adults will be drinking and adult language will be used in the music playing during the reception. If you need to bring a child that is not already present on your RSVP, please contact Vic ASAP so we can adjust accordingly.
Can i bring an unauthorized plus one to the wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, or reception?
No.
